About the Conference

Viksit Bharat@2047 represents India’s ambition to bring about a transformation for placing the country among the group of developed nations by 2047, the 100th year of India’s independence. The path to meet the target needs massive development through change in different facets that includes economic prosperity, environmental sustainability, social advancement and effective governance. With this dream propelling the nation forward, unwavering dedication is required from everyone who makes up the nation. The mission to build a $10 trillion economy needs strong willpower, determination and perseverance and this transformation can fructify with right government policies and programmes, effective industry strategies, wide-ranging business plans, innovative entrepreneurial ideas to name a few. It is needless to mention that right implementation is an inevitable requirement to bring success through transformation at all levels. The dedication from all corners of the society and economy will make India a global leader by 2047. With this vision to become a prosperous, inclusive, and resilient nation for the future, the Department of Commerce is organising an International Conference to offer a unique platform for discourse and discussion among academicians, researchers, policy makers and industry leaders.

About the Department

Vidyasagar University is a reputed university in the Eastern region of India which has been catering to the needs of higher education since 1985. The Department of Commerce , among the oldest departments in the varsity presently offers M.Com. and Ph.D degrees. The department presently has a team of seven full-time Professors, each of whom has a Doctoral degree. The department publishes a journal, ‘Vidyasagar University Journal of Commerce’ (ISSN 0973-5917) which is indexed with Citefactor.org and EBSCO. The department also takes the credit of organizing Special Lectures regularly and conducting Research Methodology Workshops. This year the department is organising the 28th Annual Conference

  • Submission of abstract: January 26, 2025
  • Intimation of acceptance of abstract: January 31, 2025
  • Submission of full paper: February 15, 2025
  • Early bird registration: Within February 10, 2025

Note: Not more than two papers can be submitted by any author (either singly or jointly).
